NEW PARTNERSHIP IN WESTERN KENYA

Dusty Feet is always seeking new partners to help combat modern-day slavery. Through these partnerships, we can increase the knowledge and action being taken to fight human trafficking. We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Maisha International (MI).

MI will be distributing the Dusty Feet Anti-Human Trafficking Curriculum to raise awareness and inspire action in the fight against human trafficking in western Kenya.

The best way to describe Maisha International is in its name. Maisha means LIFE. MI serves in the rural area of Nyanza, Kenya. Holistically providing solutions to poverty, disease and malnutrition since 2006, MI empowers its community through various initiatives ranging from support for primary and secondary education to microenterprise loans.

Communities are also being assisted through orphan care, the Living Positive program (HIV/AIDS care and awareness) and the Maisha Art and Cultural Camp (empowering youth to express themselves and develop leadership abilities through art and education). Malnutrition and lack of clean water are also addressed in Maisha’s daily feeding program and provision of clean-water strategies.

Dusty Feet is grateful for our new partnership with Maisha International. We look forward to combating poverty and human trafficking with them in the future.
